Who the support is for

Families seeking support to make positive change. Vaka Pasifika is Pacific-led and welcomes people from all cultural groups who meet eligibility and catchment requirements.

What support can include

  • Weekly sessions with support workers
  • Advocacy with agencies
  • Help identifying and accessing community resources
  • Working alongside other services

Eligibility and service area

Support is described as available in the Upper North Harbour area, West Auckland and South Auckland. Eligibility is also determined by catchment area.

Location and delivery

Support may be delivered on site, in the client’s home, or at an agreed community venue. Delivery may be individual or group-based depending on the programme.

    Supports participants to change behaviour patterns that place themselves or others at risk.
